The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) is a squadron of the RAF dedicated to the memory of all who served and perished in the service of their country during World War 2. They work tirelessly to keep a fantastic collection of WW2 RAF aircraft in flying condition. The squadron display’s these aircraft throughout the year at air shows and other functions to the delight of their supporters. The squadron also exists to educate the next generations about the part the RAF played in WW2 and also to introduce young people into STEM subjects. They are based at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire which is also a front line Typhoon base.
