BLAST THROUGH THE PASS

The lower slope of Cadair Idris flashes by as Harrier ZD438 approaches the pass. Although this is only a training sortie the pilot is flying low and fast. If the mission were for real speed and the ability to hug the terrain are vital to protect both the pilot and aircraft.
