The gravity incline to Vivian quarry.

The picture shows one part of the gravity incline to the Vivian quarry which is a part of the Dinorwig complex. Loaded wagons of slate would travel down the incline and haul the empty one's back up by means of a cable and drum. The speed was controlled by a brake man in the drum house. This section has been restored and can be seen working.
