ON A WING AND A PRAYER

With smoke trailing from her port engines B17 “Sally B” flies along the Ragley Hall crowd line recreating an event that happened every time the bomber squadrons came home in WW2. Sally B is a flying memorial to all those brave aircrew including those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Many aircraft that did make it home were badly damaged and sadly some did not survive the landing. “Lest we forget”
