A SPLIT SECOND IN TIME

A perfect moment in time catches the two synchro pilots flash past each other. One is caught by the camera pin sharp but the other a blur of speed. Catching the synchro pair at the moment of the pass is the holy grail of shots for many photographers, myself being no exception. The right camera settings and a very fast motor drive are essential but you still need a little bit of luck on your side! The two jets have a closing speed somewhere between 500-700mph so the moment is very hard to catch. The quest continues!
